It stayed on our table for about 3 weeks before we even put it away! Challenging for adults but easy enough for small children and this is a game that the kids can totally have a chance to beat you at which is hard to find. I was worried that the edges would curl up and ruin the game but that hasn't happened at all. The game rolls out and has a magnetic strip on each end that you put the black bars on to hold it in place. Very good quality game glad I purchased it!
Wow! What a find! The "board" is like a slip-and-slide that rolls out, with magnetic weighs on the end. You can play almost anywhere. The plastic "stones" are about the diameter of a quarter, and have a steel ball inside. They are also surprisingly durable, and can handle bad "off the table" throws. Game play is similar to curling - just no sweeping. We still keep yelling "HARD", because it's fun. We tried this out with a few friends, and it was such a huge hit, it turned into a round-robin tournament that had everyone laughing for hours. This is a fun little game. It sets up in seconds and is ready to play right out of the box. It rolls back up when you're done just as easy. We've played it several times since it arrived a few days ago. The "stones" actually move really smooth and our first couple rounds we sent them too far. It actually does take some skill and strategy to play. I'm happy with this purchase.
This is a very nice compact little game, suitable to take along on trips to visit family or friends. I was impressed with how quick and easy the set-up is and how quickly even the five year olds in our group figured out how to play it.
